Insurance & Benefits Consulting

To sum up in a nutshell why I started Welsh & Associates goes back to my childhood. To my earliest recollection, I was always that boy who liked to take things apart and see how they worked. This trait, that may have driven my mother crazy, is what I believe will be a tremendous asset to your business today.  Since 2006, we have operated our consulting practice in somewhat of a non-conventional way compared to other firms in our field. Paramount is our priority to actually put a client's needs first.

The Employee Benefits field has experienced unprecendented change and, thanks to the ACA, the typical employer has never been in more need of guidance. Consolidation in our industry is at an all time high. The typical Employee Benefits firm is huge and they are not shy to tell you so!  In practice, a client of these large firms see their "Sales Executive" for a brief time at the point of sale then your account is turned over to clerical staff with little field experience and no formal insurance or financial training or expertise.

Our client relationships are different. We consider ourselves to be the premier experts in the Employee Benefits field and we have the experience and credentials to back it up. We are intimately involved with in our clients day to day operation because our business model affords us to do so. Over the years Welsh & Associates has developed close partnerships with service providers we trust including TPAs, attorneys, accountants and insurance carriers, some you may recognize and some you will probably not, but they will be the leaders in thier field.

Virtually every client we started with is still a client today and no two client accounts look alike. We listen to your needs, learn about your business and your employee population, THEN put together the right pieces of the puzzle for you. Employee Benefit costs have sky rocketed in the past decade and the process has never been more complicated. The healthcare industry is DRAMATICALLY different than it was ten years ago. If you still purchase your group insurance the same way you did ten years ago, these providers are playing chess and you are playing checkers!
